Burn Center
RMCOF Burn center in Rawalpindi was handed over to Government of Punjab on July 1st, 2010. This Burn Center was launched in 2007 by Rawalpindi Medical College Overseas Foundation, Inc. (RMCOF) at the Holy Family Hospital, Rawalpindi, Pakistan. This project was made possible due to generous donations by the graduates of Rawalpindi Medical College all over the world. Their donations helped bring down the mortality rate of burn victims from 75% to 35% for patients admitted to the Holy Family Hospital. Thank you all for your generous support!
Mission Statement: “To provide optimal patient care through the skills of a multidisciplinary team of professionals dedicated to burn care, from the time of injury until the patient is ready for returning to normal life.”
