Rawalpindi Medical College Continuing Medical Education (RMCME)

We have created this page For the cause of advancing latest, cutting edge medical education and research in Rawalpindi Medical College (RMC), Rawalpindi, Pakistan. The name RMCME comes from Rawalpindi Medical College (RMC) Continuing Medical Education (CME). Our objective is to deliver the expertise, knowledge and skills learnt outside Pakistan back to our Alma Mater. We will also help the graduates and undergraduates of RMC to help achieve the higher medical expertise and learning in Pakistan and abroad. The fostering of research in clinical and basic science level is central to this cause. All physicians affiliated with an academic program or interested in CME activities or persons interested to develop this programs further are welcome.

RMCME ANNOUCEMENTS

NEUROLOGY FELLOWSHIP IN CANADA: Please contact us on RMCME discussion forum if you are or know some eligible Rawalian with FCPS Neurology who is interested in a 2 year paid fellowship in University of Edmonton, Alberta Canada.

ROTATION IN PATHOLOGY FOR TWO FINAL YEAR RMC STUDENTS: We have secured summer rotations for two eligible final year students with special interest in Pathology, one each in the Department of Pathology John Hopkins University, Maryland, USA and another one in University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. The candidates will be selected every year by Principal Rawalpindi Medical College(RMC) in consultation with Pathology department of RMC and RMCAANA Executive Council.

APPNA MERIT PROGRAM: Please contact us, if you are a physician in North America affiliated with an academic program or interested in CME activities and are interested to spend at least 2 weeks teaching in RMC, Rawalpindi Pakistan. This program is sponsored by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. You can become APPNA MERIT pioneer if you develop a program within your other colleagues in the same specialty. These program include ward rounds, didactics and training in procedures. They are intended for the house staff and medical students.
